macOS compatibility
NightOwl Dimmer requires macOS 13.0 Ventura or later.
Compatible with both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.
Troubleshooting & FAQs
Open NightOwl, choose the Pro dialog, and select Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in to the App Store with the Apple ID that made the original purchase.
Open Settings inside NightOwl and enable Run at startup. macOS will launch NightOwl automatically when you sign in.
Open Settings, click into the Shortcut field, and press the key combination you want. Use Reset to clear it.
Confirm the display is visible in System Settings › Displays. NightOwl only lists monitors that macOS currently recognizes. Reconnecting the cable or refreshing NightOwl usually resolves temporary detection issues.
NightOwl works with displays macOS recognizes, but behavior can vary depending on the display, adapter, macOS version, and configuration.
